There are three levels of speed of reciting the Qur’an :
1 – Investigate: Read the Quran slowly and quietly with a thinking on the meaning and observance of the rules of Tajweed, giving each letter its rights with respect to the characteristics and expressions, prolonging the letters of the tide, which must be extended, and not to prolong that which is not supposed to lengthen.
Is the recitation of heavy letters heavy and light letters light as required by the rules of Tajweed. This is the best level of reading.
2 – Al-Hadar: It is a swift way to read the Quran, taking into account the rules of Tajweed.
The reader must then be careful not to cut lengthened letters, not to get rid of Ghunnah, and not to shorten the vowels to the extent that the reading is incorrect.
3 – Al-Tadweer : Reading is done at a moderate speed between the two levels mentioned above while maintaining and observing the rules of Tajweed.
