The Greatness of the Qur’an

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful; all praises are due to Allah, the Lord of the world; and may His peace and blessing be upon His Messenger Muhammad [s.a.w] The Noble Qur’an is the Greatest Book ever sent on planet earth to humankind and its verses are so wise, deep in meaning, interrelated and concise that anyone can understand it as long as they can read and write. The verses [especially the stories] are often repeated in different forms and formats and it words also [there is hardly a word that is only repeated once in the Qur’ an],all this is so that the people may understand the message clearly as it’s not the quantity that matters rather the quality that is why it is hard to see a Muslim leaving his religion and it’s the fastest-growing religion in the world. Below are few verses and hadiths [Prophetic tradition] about the importance of the Noble Qur’an: “…and [the Quran] a guidance and glad tidings for those who believe.”(al-Baqara, 2/97). “The month of Ramadan in which was sent down the Qur’an as a guide to mankind also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment”(al-Baqara, 2/185). “Do they not ponder on the Qur’an!? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.” (an-Nisa, 4/82). “And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: hence follow it and be righteous, that you may receive mercy.”(al-Anam, 6/155). “And this is a Book which We have sent down, bringing blessings and confirming (the revelations) which came before it: that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and all around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it (the Book), and they are constant in guarding their prayers.”(al-Anam, 6/92). “This Quran is guidance and glad tidings for those who believe.”(Sad, 38/29).
