The suitable question to start with is What do you knowabout Islam?Islam as a word comes from “submission” that meanssubmission and submitting to Allah Almighty.Allah belief will be well based when we know more andmore about Islam and Allah almighty.So, for Allah belief to be on a solid base we have to digdeeper in the Islam, and the creator of the universe(Allah).So, as we said before, Islam is the only religion that will beconsidered by Allah on the Day of Judgement as said byAllah in his great book the Holy Quran:إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِThis Holy verse is located in Surah Al Imran.Allah says in this verse that the religion that will beconsidered by him on the day of Judgement is Islam only.And On examination and scrutiny of this Surah, we willrealize the meaning of Allah belief.But it is important to say that Allah belief is not a phrase tobe studied only, but it is the state of the heart and theapplication of this state by the body.To believe in Allah we have to know about him, Who isAllah?Allah Almighty is the creator of all people and all things,this World only belongs to him, he is worshipped by allpeople and he rules everything.Allah as a name has no plural.How to believe in Allah?To realize Allah belief one has to believe that Allah is thesupreme being who exists independently, and everythinghappens in the World only due to God’s will and with hisknowledge.To believe in Allah one has to believe that Allah is themaster of the universe, and he is the only one and no oneelse.Our only God Allah listens to all of our supplications andanswers them.We can’t see Allah with our eyes, but we know himthrough the working of attributes, and through hisProphets and Messengers.So,Allah belief is the belief in the presence of Allah, hisdeism, and his names.It includes 4 conditions, and the one who believes in themis the true believer.
These 4 conditions are:
1. The belief in Allah (Faith in God Almighty):
We infer the existence of God from the great number ofcreatures now and in the past which need a creator asnothing comes to the World by chance.
2. Faith in God’s Godhead:
Which means he is the only God with no partner.3. Faith in the divinity of God:He is the only true God and none other than him.4. Faith in his names and attributes:As Allah said in Surah al_A’rafوَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي أَسْمَائِهِ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَThis great verse means that Allah has special names thatwe have to call him with.Allah belief is the life jacket of all people In a sea oftemptation so everyone has to believe in him.
