Allah Almighty has imposed some things on His servants, some things are allowed, and others are forbidden. One of these essentials that Allah has imposed on His servants is Hijab. Hadith about Hijab will help us to realize the importance of Hijab in Islam. Before having Hadith about Hijab, we have to know more about its meaning.

What is Hijab in Islam:

Hijab in language means concealment, and protection.“Hijab” in Shariah means that the woman hides herself, and hides her adornment so that foreigners can’t see anything from her body, this will be clear when we know Hadith about Hijab. It is very important to say that Hijab is not a restriction of a woman, and not a prohibition for her Freedom, but rather to preserve and protect her. We will emphasize these meanings through our study of Hadith about Hijab.

Why did Allah impose Hijab on Muslims?

We will mention some but not all of these causes in order to know the greatness of Islam. 1. To save and protect women from people’s greed, as said by Allah in Surah Al Ahzab:

In this great Verse Allah Almighty has commanded His Noble Messenger to command His wives, daughters and all Muslim women to commit to wearing Hijab; so that they will be protected. 2. In order to avoid corruption and temptation. 3. Preserving women’s femininity, covering her beauties. 4. To keep ourselves from sins and prohibitions. 5. An important sign of a woman’s goodness. 6. Evidence of the servant’s obedience to his God, and abiding by His orders. Allah also said in His Holy book:

We have to say that Hijab is suitable for the modesty of Muslim women, and the zeal of Muslim men. What are the specifications of Hijab in Islam? 1. It must cover all of her body except face and hands, Allah also said in Surah Nur:

This Verse means that: Oh, Muhammad! say to the believing women that They lower their looks, catch their eyes, and guard their chastity, and do not show their adornment except that which is outward (their faces and their hands). And ask them not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, or what their right hands own. or children who do not yet know the private parts of women. We have to turn to our God to be successful in our life. Now it’s time to talk about Hadith about Hijab. Hadith about Hijab:

The translation of the Hadith is:

If you want to get engaged to a woman, you are allowed to look at what motivates you to marry her.

Simple explanation of the Hadith:

This is a great Hadith about Hijab, that doesn’t describe Hijab itself (it is explained in detail in the Holy Quran), but it confirms the presence of Hijab in Islam. This Hadith also indicates that the women were chaste, and were covering their bodies. As Muslims, we must adhere to the correct Hijab that Allah has described to us in the Quran and Sunnah.
