Hadith about mother

Mothers in Islam are the pillar and foundation of the society. We will take a tour around Hadith about mother in Islam. Hadith about mother shows the virtue of mother in Islam, and explains the importance of her presence. The Holy Quran and Hadith both emphasize the respect that should be accorded to our mothers. Allah Almighty said in His great book (the Holy Quran): “We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents; in pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth” (46:15). As Muslims, we must obey Allah’s rules, and His Messenger (SAW) advice. This great Verse asks us to treat our parents gently, love them, especially our mothers; as they face challenges that fathers don’t. Obedience to parents is a Fard (that must be done) as long as they don’t command us to disobey Allah. To know Hadith about mother, we should first recite this Verse, and feel its meanings with our hearts: “We have enjoined man concerning his parents: His mother carried him through weakness upon weakness, and his weaning takes two years. Give thanks to Me and your parents. To Me is the return. But if they urge you to ascribe to Me as a partner that of which you have no knowledge, then do not obey them. Keep their company honorably in this world and follow the way of him who turns to Me penitently. Then to Me will be your return, where I will inform you concerning what you used to do” (31:14, 15).

Rights of Mothers in Islam:

Rights of mothers in Islam will be known from Hadith about mother that was mentioned by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Being a son of a virtuous mother, means that you definitely know the rights of your mother. It is very important to say that Islam has honored women more than any other religion. And we will mention some of our mothers’ rights: 1. Obedience: As Muslims, we must show obedience and respect to our mothers. Our Mothers deserve every good thing, so we must give them what they want before they ask. 2. Being humble: It also was mentioned in Hadith about mothers, and showed the benefit of being humble. We should be humble to our mothers, talk to them with kind words, and look at them with respect, as said by Allah in the Holy Quran: “Keep their company honorably in this world” (31:15) An said also: “Lower the wing of humility to them, mercifully.” It is important to say that this affection and this obedience must originate from deep in our hearts, and not just actions. 3. Good treatment: Muslims and non-Muslims must treat their mothers well, “treating well” as a phrase means to treat our mothers with ultimate compassion. One of the best good deeds in Islam in Eidul Fitr is said to be obeying parents. 4. Thanks to mothers: We should thank our mothers for their strenuous efforts for us: “Give thanks to Me and to your parents” (31:14). 5. Ask Allah to have Mercy on them in this World, and after death. It is time to talk about Hadith about mother, and appreciation of Islam for women.

Hadith about mother:

There are many Hadiths talking about mothers, and now we will talk about one Hadith about mother. A man came to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and asked Him, “Who is most deserving of my care?” He said, “Your mother.” The man asked, “Then who?” He said, “Your mother.” The man asked, “Then who?” He said, Your mother.” The man asked (the fourth time), “Then who?” He said, “Your father.” This is a great Hadith about mother that should be applied by all Muslims. So, our mothers deserve our care and love. Our beloved Prophet (SAW) emphasizes the importance of caring of our mothers. They don’t skimp on us with anything and give us everything we want, and more than we want. The whole World is few if we would like to give them as a gift. We should always ask Allah to protect our mothers from any Evil.   See More : Hadith about parents
