What is Ramadan?

َّيَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

This means that All Muslims have to fast Ramadan to get the reward from Allah, and also to get his satisfaction. Ramadan doesn’t mean to fast about eating and drinking only, but it trains us on fasting about every bad thing that makes Allah angry. In Ramadan also you can’t do some Halal things such as the couple’s relationship, eating and drinking. One of the most important things about Ramadan is that it is the third pillar of the 5 pillars of Islam. What is the benefit of fasting Ramadan? Fasting Ramadan is the best worship one can do to be close to Allah. In Ramadan, Allah forgives our sins, closes the fire doors, opens the doors of Paradise, and the fasting person will be pleased when he takes his Iftar, and also when he meets Allah. We will be encouraged and learn how to prepare for Ramadan when we know that Allah asked his believers to fast Ramadan and said the only good deed that will concern him is Fasting.
